Runescape is a game that has been played for a long time. We have been loyal players for a long time. But, we don't want it to become a boring game. Runescape should return to its former glory when it had 100,000 players. Anything else is sad. How is Runescape to keep its luster intact? This isn't an easy task. If it was, it would have already been done.
Many of the improvement ideas floating around in my opinion will not be the magic bullet to Runescape's problems. Of course, I have other ideas, but they'll be put aside for a future editorial. In the meantime, I hope we can get back to fishing rocktails and mining ores without needing to search for coffins to our characters. At least for now.
The majority of us have been playing the game for a while now, and it has likely had an impact on our lives in some way. It's not in a huge way, like "I met my future partner when we teamed together and pjed Mahatma @ the edge", but in small ways. Also, do not make claims such as "I've spent hours of time sitting in front of my laptop."
Here are a few of mine. Most of these are very minor of course. My high school chemistry class was the only one that knew Iron+Coal=Steel. I used my Runescape banking pin to create a new account when I required it. (Let's hope you never find out the reason for that! It has no money however.
Through Runescape, I discovered other Jagex games like funorb. I haven't played them as often as Runescape, however. There are probably more. I'm not sure the names, but I will write if I remember.
